Conducted by the National Youth Council of Malta in the lead-up to the 2024 European Parliament elections, this survey captures the perspectives of Maltese youth on EU-related issues. Through an online questionnaire, both qualitative and quantitative data were gathered from 117 respondents, aged 16-35. The results highlight a robust engagement with EU affairs and a clear set of expectations for future MEPs, emphasizing transparency, effective representation, and strong actions on security, defence, and environmental policies. Key findings include a high intention to vote and a favorable view of EU membership despite concerns about policy effectiveness and regional stability.
