European Youth Dialogue

Last Week our Secretary General, International Officer and MO member attended the first conference of the 10th cycle of the European Youth Dialogue in Alicante Spain

The European Youth Dialogue is a way to ensure that the option, views and needs of young people and youth organisations are taken into account when defining the EU’s youth policies. This is in support of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 which focuses on three main points; ‘connect, engage and empower’ whilst encouraging cooperation between the EU countries in respect to all issues concerning young people

This dialogue with policy makers and other dialogue activities happen in 18-month work cycles. Each cycle focuses on a different theme set by Council of Youth Ministers. The 10th cycle’s theme is “Inclusive Societies” with trio presidency Spain, Belgium and Hungary organising the dialogue. The conclusions that come out of the dialogue will be presented to the Council of the European Union

We look forward on continuing our adequate representation of Maltese and Gozitan youths in the Youth Dialogue
