malta health students' association
The Malta Health Students Association is a voluntary, senate recognized, students’ association within the University of Malta, representing the students of the Faculty of Health Science – FHS.
Fresh off the celebration of its 10-year anniversary, MHSA’s main goal is to match this milestone with the expanding of our outreach to both students and the general public with regards to health. Following the rapid growth and success in both the internal and external structure of MHSA, as well as welcoming new roles such as that of the Human Resources Officer, we have kept the student as the first and foremost priority.
The main themes and topics MHSA addresses throughout the years will be the following:
- Exposure to all courses and portraying the vital roles of each and every health care professional within the multidisciplinary team.
- Sexual health with an informative, hard hitting, yet sensitive approach to the Maltese public in all age groups.
- Employment preparement for the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences with an innovative exploration of the private sector.
- General public health via health checks and similar activities that has been at the heart of MHSA’s values since its inception.
