Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi

About

Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi (Malta Law Students’ Society) is a faculty-based non-profit organisation at the University of Malta which represents all law students within the Faculty of Laws. GħSL was set-up by a group of law students in 1943 led by Professor Joseph Ganado.

GħSL seeks to be at the forefront of local and inter/national legal policies. In fact, the organisation is responsible for the distribution of authoritative law notes and past papers, the organization of several seminars and conferences addressed by leading speakers, for the publication of the yearly “Id-Dritt” Law Journal and for its own thesis library at the Faculty of Laws.

This is all notwithstanding its social calendar, filled with numerous events such as post-exam and summer parties, international law student exchanges, leisure trips abroad and a strong participation in charitable events during its ‘Legal Aid Week’.

The Organisation hence plays a pivotal role in law students’ academic and social life at the University of Malta.
