Malta Medical Students' Association
The Malta Medical Students’ Association is a non-governmental, non-political student organisation that was established in 1951. MMSA represents over 700 students over the 5 years of medical school at the University of Malta. International relations within EMSA and IFMSA enhance MMSA’s networks and opportunities. Our mission is to enhance the education of future medical professionals through enforcing active participation in their teaching system, organizing international exchanges and implementing training in the various fields of the public health sector. We also aim at empowering the Maltese society, including its marginalized communities, to become functionally involved in decision taking within the National Healthcare System and to reduce health-related social problems through culture and gender sensitive health advocacy.
