Sara Ezabe is currently a law student at the University of Malta. She currently holds the position of Commissioner for Youth Services in the National Youth Council (KNZ). Her interests include international Politics, human rights law and philosophy. In 2016 she was awarded the Queens’ Young leader Award for advocating for social inclusion in Malta and co-founding the campaign #RedefiningUs, as part of this award she also completed a course in leadership at the University of Cambridge.As Public Policy and Rights commissioner she hopes to continue promoting dialogue and policy which embraces equality and inclusion amongst young people. As a student she has also been involved in several youth organizations which include ELSA Malta, Insite and GHSL. Through this she gained experience in Policy writing and research were she lead a policy paper on hate speech. Other than academic and humanitarian interests, she is very passionate about art, especially in painting and drawing as a form of human expression, and also in cooking and baking.
