Sandrine Borg has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Hons) and is currently reading for a Masters in Biomedical science focusing on Neuroscience Research. She has been active from a young age and had the opportunity to be one of the Maltese representatives for the IUCN Young People's Eco-Action in 2007. She remained active and enthusiastic on policy issues regarding environment, health, and social issues which lead her to the role of Social Policy Officer and later the Vice President of the science organisation S-Cubed. Prior to forming part of the KNZ executive, Sandrine had taken part in the National Youth Parliament as well as policy subcommittees, which prepared her for the role of Policy and Youth Rights Commissioner. She remains to be ambitious about scientific research, and values travelling and learning by talking to people regarding various national and international policies.
